Fashion historian Dave Temple will share an overview of the history of hats and how they are made, and provide tips for wearing hats and finding hat shapes that suit you. To cap off the seminar (tee-hee), you’ll decorate your own keepsake sunhat! Sewing experience is nice but not necessary.

Fashion historian, Dave Temple, has written and spoken about vintage fashion for decades in conjunction with his company, Clever Vintage Clothing. His seminars, “Fashion and the History of Travel” and “California: Sportswear Capitol”, have resulted in exhibits at The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). He has presented illustrated lectures and fashion shows from coast to coast, including Tiki Oasis San Diego, Resort-O-Rama, and Arizona Tiki Oasis. @clevervintageclothing
