As a child, Eric October's art career began as scribbles on his bedroom walls; his parents were not fans of his early works. Undaunted by the initial critical reviews, he continued his artistic endeavors, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpting, assemblage, fabric art, paper sculpture, and anything else his insane brain conjured. Ceramics are his current focus. His inspirations include Tiki culture, Polynesian art, vintage Halloween, dinosaurs, monsters, el Día de los Muertos, and other fascinating subjects.
