Screening of "Bosko and the Rebirth of Tiki"

Sponsored by

This documentary film portrait of artist Bosko Hrnjak follows him from his formative years growing up among the Tiki apartment buildings in Los Angeles, to his unsung pioneering work as the first individual to revive the lost art of carving Tikis and sculpting Tiki ceramics. Featuring recently-discovered, rare archival material.

Bosko Hrnjak is a pioneer of Tiki art. Since the demise of the original Tiki movement, Bosko is known as the first artist to sculpt Tikis, make ceramic mugs, and to create a real Tiki bar — Taboo Cove, Las Vegas.
