WHAT IS TIKI OASIS?
Tiki Oasis is the largest and longest-running Tiki gathering in the world. Tiki Oasis is a series of events over 5 nights and 4 days. Arrive Wednesday night for our “Meet & Mingle” at the Bali Hai featuring live music, cocktails and buffet. The restaurant does take dinner reservations. Thursday– Sunday partake in daytime events at the Paradise Point such as dj’s, tiki marketplace, educational seminars, art exhibit and sip fruity drinks while relaxing in one of our 5 pools! In the evening enjoy the main stage bands, full Luau dinner on Thursday night and a Midnight Burlesque show. Stay for the beach party on Sunday!
WHERE DOES TIKI OASIS TAKE PLACE?
Tiki Oasis takes place in San Diego, California. Wednesday will be at the historic Bali Hai restaurant (2230 Shelter Island Drive) and Thursday -Sunday at the Paradise Point (1404 Vacation Rd).
WHAT ARE THE DATES OF TIKI OASIS?
Wednesday, August 12th – Sunday, August 16th, 2020.
DOES BOOKING A HOTEL ROOM AT ONE OF THE TIKI OASIS PARTNER HOTELS GRANT ME ENTRY TO THE EVENT?
Sorry, no…you must purchase separately to be admitted to any Tiki Oasis events such as the main stage showcase, midnight burlesque show, seminars and special room party events.
DO YOU SELL A ONE-NIGHT ONLY TICKET?
You may purchase a single night ticket for Wednesday or Sunday only. We believe that Tiki Oasis is best experienced if you attend the full weekend of events and highly recommend our 4-day pass that covers Thursday – Sunday night main showcase…oh, this pass also includes admission to the Midnight Burlesque show!
CAN I STAY AT PARADISE POINT AND NOT BUY A TICKET TO THE EVENT?
No. You must have a ticket to be on property after 4pm.
IS THERE A RESORT FEE?
Paradise Point has a $13 a day resort fee plus $13 a day for parking. The Dana has a $10 a day resort fee and parking is included for free.
DO NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET TO VISIT THE POOL ON PROPERTY
Our 5 pools are ticketed entry.
CAN I GET A TICKET REFUND?
Tiki Oasis Event Tickets are non-refundable 30 days before the event. This includes tickets to the showcase, seminars, pin-up photo session and special events.
DO I NEED A TICKET TO ENTER THE TIKI OASIS MARKETPLACE?
The Tiki Oasis Marketplace is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday ONLY and you may check those out without a full weekend pass. While you are on the grounds why not enjoy a daytime seminar? You may purchase a la carte tickets in advance thru the website and often there are still tickets available at the door!
WHERE DO I PARK MY CAR?
The Paradise Point has a large parking lot. Those staying at the Paradise Point will get one parking spot with each room reservation ($13 per day). For those traveling in for the day or the evening events, parking is $13 per day. Unofficially there is parking all day in the public parks surrounding Paradise Point. No overnight parking. Tiki Oasis and/or Paradise Point are not responsible for any fees or towing incurred when parking in this lot. The Paradise Point does not allow overnight RV or trailer parking.
IS THERE A WEAPONS POLICY AT TIKI OASIS?
Tiki Oasis is proud to be a safe environment where everyone can have a great time and feel safe at the same time. As per other large scale events, we have a no weapons policy. Please read this entire policy before attending Tiki Oasis.
The following items are forbidden at the Tiki Oasis event:
- Functional firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
- Realistic replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for functional real firearms)
- Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows and slingshots)
- Sharpened metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, swords and switch blades)
- Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
- Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray) and Aerosol mustard
- Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs and nunchaku)
- Instruments that cause excessive noise levels like vuvuzelas, grenade whistles and grenade horns
Prop weapons will be allowed providing they are composed of cardboard, foam, wood, plastic or other light materials. Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons. The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored orange caps. Security will be on hand to assess all props. Get creative with your costumes but just be smart and safe about it!
