Design Tips
Here are a few design tips to help you create web banners that will be eye catching and trouble free!
Don't waste space with urls - All our banners come complete with a link directly to the url you provide.
Choose the right file format and avoid pixelation - When choosing a file format consider your content! Gifs are best used for animation and bold graphics. Jpgs are best used for photographs with subtle detail and vast color ranges. Pngs are best used for transparency.
Think inside the box - It's true that all our banners are rectangular in shape but if you use a png format with a transparent background your ad can be any shape!
Content that contrasts - When designing your web banner remember to use colors that stand out against our website's background... If your branding uses dark colors consider changing them to a lighter color or appling a light background behind them to make them pop!
Get animated with your bad self - Tiki Oasis banners can be as simple as a photograph or a logo... but if you are a little more design savy you can get amazing results with an animated gif. Simply create several frames and combine them into one animated gif, set the timing and marvel at your masterpeice. Don't forget to set your animated gif to loop or it will only play once when the web page loads.
