Tiki Oasis is the largest and longest-running Tiki gathering in the world. Tiki Oasis is a series of events over 4 nights and 3 days. Arrive Thursday night for our "Meet & Mingle" at the Bali Hai featuring live music. You can make your dinner reservations for the restaurant or purchase the buffet downstairs. Friday – Sunday partake in daytime events at the Crowne Plaza such as dj’s, shopping, educational symposiums, car show, and drinking cocktails while relaxing in the pool. In the evening enjoy the main stage bands and a midnight burlesque show. Stay for the finale closing party on Sunday featuring top entertainment as well as an early dinner BBQ!
Tiki Oasis takes place in San Diego, California. Thursday will be at the historic Bali Hai restaurant (2230 Shelter Island Drive) and Wed/Friday -Sunday at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (2270 Hotel Circle North).

You may purchase a single night ticket for Sunday only. We believe that Tiki Oasis is best experienced if you attend the full weekend of events and highly recommend our 4-day pass that covers Thursday – Sunday night main showcase...oh, this pass also includes admission to the Midnight Burlesque show! Tiki Oasis Event Tickets are non-refundable after the 27th of July! This includes tickets to the showcase, symposiums, pin-up photo session and special events.
The Tiki Marketplace and Tiki Oasis car show is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday ONLY and you may check those out without a full weekend pass. While you are on the grounds why not check out a daytime symposium? You may also purchase a la carte tickets in advance thru the website and often there are still tickets available at the door!
At all times the hotel asks that everyone notify the front desk when checking out to not incur extra fees. All Tiki Oasis guests will receive free late check out of 12 noon, later check out of 2pm available by request 24 hours before check out. If you check out after 2pm you will incur a $50 late fee.
Parking at the hotel is approx $14. There is no parking on the street in front of hotel. Unofficially there is parking in the lot behind AAA (Auto Club) about two blocks away after 6pm on Saturday and all day Sunday. No overnight parking. Tiki Oasis and/or Crowne Plaza are not responsible for any fees or towing incurred when parking in this lot. The Crowne Plaza does not allow overnight RV or trailer parking.
Tiki Oasis is proud to be a safe environment where everyone can have a great time and feel safe at the same time. As per other large scale events, we have a no weapons policy. Please read this entire policy before attending Tiki Oasis. The following items are forbidden at the Tiki Oasis event:
- Functional firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
- Realistic replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for functional real firearms)
- Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows and slingshots)
- Sharpened metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, swords and switch blades)
- Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
- Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray) and Aerosol mustard
- Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs and nunchaku)
- Instruments that cause excessive noise levels like vuvuzelas, grenade whistles and grenade horns
